Original Iconic ‘Zeta’ chair by designer Paul Tuttle for Strassle International of Switzerland 1970`s. The name `Zeta` originated from the ‘Z’ shaped chrome base. Built to an incredibly high standard, both the frame and the luxurious soft taupe aniline leather are in excellent vintage condition with very few signs of use. Manufacturers stamp still present.
Heritage
The establishment of Strassle came about in Kirchberg, Toggenburg region of Switzerland in 1886,  the upholsterer master opened Gottlieb Strässle after long time study and  years as an upholstery in car construction industry. His son Ho had been in Nice as interior decorator, took over the paternal business in 1929. In the same year, he showed his first contemporary collection of upholstered furniture at the Swiss sample fair in Basel. With it also their specialisation of the production of seat furniture.
